What User Information Do We Collect?
When you use our website, we collect the IP address that you use to access the website as well as your user agent information (which includes information about your browser, device, and how you are accessing the widget). Your IP address is used for analytical and security purposes.
While chatting with our assistant or filling out our forms, we retain a transcript of your entire chat and all information contained therein. We collect information from that transcript separately, including, without limitation, your name, phone number, email address, physical address, and remodeling project specifications. All this information is used to schedule estimates and provide contracting services.
Why Do We Collect User Information and How Do We Use It?
- To provide you the general contracting services, estimating, and scheduling that you request.
- To check for and protect against spam, bots, or any other type of inorganic traffic for security purposes.
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, warrants, etc.).
- For our legitimate business interests, including following up on estimate requests, organizing project timelines, and contacting you regarding structural plans.
Where Is User Information Stored?
User information is stored securely on servers managed by us and our database hosting partners (e.g., Supabase, Amazon Web Services). We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to protect user information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Third-Party Disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or trade your user information to outside third parties. We share chat transcripts and contact data only with our internal estimators, managers, and subcontractors to fulfill your specific remodeling requests.
